In 2004 when tsunami struck the villages of south India Sam started a home for the orphan girls in a village named Nagercoil in Kanyakumari dist.  Many of the girls today are trained nurses and have settled in life.  The home continues as a home for orphan girls.  This project is taken care by Mr. Marcus who sponsors the home and all the needs of the home. 
Passion to help children who are vulnerable to our systems moved Sam to do something for them. 

         Imagine Trust was born when the founder Mr. Sam Mathew had to visit a village.  All the kids were assembled for a kids program but a few were missing as they were ex-communicated from all community activities.  Sam was disturbed and found the reasons behind this was the kids were HIV+.  This incident moved his heart and he started visiting people with this illness.  His studies led him to start Imagine Trust in 2012.  Though he couldn’t do much, he assisted them to get medications and a healthy diet.     His love won them to him.  Since then, he has been giving food packets consisting of food grains, lentils, bournvita and dry fruits.  He has arranged counselling sessions and seminars on hygiene for these people on regular intervals. 

          Along this journey he brought the need for starting a tuition centre in Nadurbar district and trust has appointed two teachers that are now helping kids from Maanur village.  Because of this extra coaching kids are able to understand their subjects well.  One boy named Prakash scored 85% and was the topper in his district, and that made him proud.  He owes his thanks to the tuition centre in the village that Imagine started. 
The objective of Imagine Trust is to see every one of these terminally ill people live with dignity and respect.
